Default vtec rotors and calipers, will 15" ITR wheels fit...

So I want to upgrade to the larger vtec rotor, and in doing so, much convert to the vtec calipers. When I installed my ITR wheels, I needed spacers to make them fit, will they fit over the vtec rotors?

They should fit fine. But I'd use spacers in them regardless of that. The offset is too high.

they definately need spacers, ask SleepyH22 about that one. He just installed ITRs earlier this week and had quite a surprise when the car tried to move off of the lift. By the way, would you know anyone who has a set of those wheels for sale????

MUST use spacers!!

they will not clear the calipers. i believe you need at least 5MM in the fronts. Rears fit fine with no spacers.

I already have spacers on them. I know, Im just wondering about the top of the caliper. I already have ITR wheels on my car. BUT, it is with the S/Si brakes. The vtec rotors are almost a full inch larger, that's where I am wondering if the caliper will hit the wheel, and I found out the hard way that you need wheel spacers. Tried grinding off some of the caliper, didn't work.

my car for reference.

you'll have no problems with it hitting anything on vtec rotors/calipers as long as you're running spacers.

does anyone know if the rear rotor of the vtec is bigger than the one of the S/Si?

rear brakes are the same.
the different offset of the wheel is is what causes the caliper issues.
the original Si-VTEC wheel is a 15"

on a related note, if you need the components for the upgrade I can help you... selling brand new brembo blank prelude VTEC rotors plus the bigger prelude vtec / ITR calipers with pads.
