I hate the Black finish on my Spoon sw-388's, but I love how light and strong they are. So, I'm thinking about painting them. My hatch is red, so the choices that I have are ones that I'd think would look good on the car.

I'll probably just leave them how they are, but who knows--maybe a certain color would look good. Am I the first person to ever think of such a thing with those wheels?

 

why dont you try to trade them for some regamasters or something.

or sell them, and get 3 sets of rotas. one is silver, bronze, and gunmetal

Yeah, I probably will leave them alone. I've thought about trading them for something different, but having painted Spoon rims would be kind of interesting. I'd make sure I cover up the Desmond sticker just so I wouldn't get accused of having rotas

w-10's (about 80% tred left) rims are MINT ill be willing to trade.

Geez guys--they are competition wheels for me. I could care less about killing the resale of them with some powdercoating or paint. I bought them for the weight.

However, I need to stick with 15" wheels if I do trade or sell. Also, nothing less than 7" wheels this time.

 

Color them whatever you want. People here will slam you all day long though.

You can do whatever you want but why the hell would you pay all that money for rims then change them. I do understand the weight and strength but I am sure you can find some strong light rims for a lower price and in the style you want. Just my opinion, but I am pretty stingy with my money.
