Steel brake line question?
I reasontly instand some Russell steel brake lines and there are working great. My problem is when I put my wheels back on and went for a test drive I noticed a rubbing/clicking noise coming from my front end. I took my wheels back off to find that the lines got in the way and were rubbing aginst my wheel. It has striped the plastic lining from a section of the line on both sides in the front end. Will this be an issue for my stopping ability? Should I replaec them? I have heardthat the fluid can come through the steel and the plastic is what stops it. Thanks for your input.
The brake lines came with rubber clips in the middle of the line where they are suppose to bolt up, but the koni/ground control system that I'm running doesnt have places for this. So all I did was zip tie them to the control arm and went with it. Anyone have suggestions about my first question?
