Default Clutch slip when hot?

Maybe I was crazy or somethign yesterday but coming home from work there was alot of traffic (as always) and was hot here in FL. I had my AC on and all...after 15 min of slow moving, we finally started to move fast.... And Im pretty sure that when I gave it alot of gas, the clutch slightly started to slip. I tried it in 3rd,4th and 5th, and when I'd gun it, it'd slip a lil. But after the car cooled down I took it for a drive and no slip... drove it ALOT last night as well and no slip. BTW This clutch is BRAND new and just installed it on thursday (2 days ago.. OEM exedy clutch kit) I just did a Auto to Manual swap BTW... 92 civic lx

Thanks!

Have you fully broken in the clutch yet? (500miles) Also if you ride the clutch alot it will start the process of slipping.

You gotta break it in first, and try not to ride the clutch.

that was the first thing that came to my mind. If you didnt then its just slipping on the glazed surface of the flywheel and cant "bite" into it to get grip (friction) causing it to slip
