Default new clutch

I just got a new clutch installed friday and since then i've put ~200 miles on it. when i just feather the clutch out and let it roll into first on its own it almost "stutters", like kinda jumps the whole time till its rolling good. is that just normal for a new clutch or is something wrong?

What type of clutch did you get? If it's a stronger aftermarket clutch then yes that's normal. Your getting a harder engagement and if you don't give it more gas to compensate for its "grabbing" effect you'll get a sutter like you did when you first learned to drive stick.

No it's nothing to worry about. You just need to get used to driving with it. Try giving it a little more gas at the start. The only thing you need to watch for is if your getting a burned clutch smell or some serious vibration while driving. The sticky or grabbing feeling during engagement it perfectly normal.

Loud huh, that's probably nothing to worry about either. I'm assuming you have a light fly wheel and pressure plate as well or did you just go clutch. Personnally I recommend changing or resurfacing everything when you change out the clutch. At least get the flywheel and pressure plate inspected by a reputable shop. Sounds like your fine though.

When I first got my puck/fly wheel it did that also. it eases up after a while, but you will always have a little stuttering effect if u don't grab right away.
