anyone running huge turbo's on your b-series?
im talking about 90mm+ turbos with NO NITROUS to spool?
I would just like opinions, can BUILT 4 bangers push out enough to get these things to spool without nitrous?

a local guy owns a performance shop and somehow thinks he will be efficient with a 95mm turbo on his b-series.
he says he'll rev to 11.5k but I still do not find this feasible.. any opinions?

Sure haha if he put a 40r exhaust wheel/housing on it. Most people are going to assume that 90mm+ is going to be the inducer if so thats pretty damn big. The hotrod honda that are running now are around the higher 900 or even 1000 hp mark I think i wouldnt know exactly since i dont own one. But these guys/girl
are running 74mm turbos "4202r" so to think about putting a turbo that big is pretty damn pointless.
These are the turbo that 10.5 class mustang guys/etc are running. I'm not a domestic guy but these car probably have stroked and bored v8's. I highly doubt this guy knows what he's talking about.
Where exactly is this shop located? What does he sell at this shop? I bet he has lots of body kits and taillights haha

this is what i am thinking.. the turbo is just way too big.
not only that, i am thinking he's going to lag like a mother up to at least 5500 rpms and then just spin the tires after that leaving very little powerband to put on the ground.
I know the Mustang class is pushing 95mm turbos and more but they have 4 extra cylinders helping spool that turbo not including buidling the motor.
anyone have any other opinions, maybe im wrong?

We are talking about 4 measly cylinders making enough juice to get the charger rolling, just doesnt make sense...
