98 civic LX
I just placed a Y8 head on my D16A6 engine I also installed the 96+ P2P ECU, All the v-tec wires are pinned in. But I ran into a problem first off the engine will idle fine for about a min or two then the engine will just die down to about 400 or 300 rpms, I have put a timming light to this and the timing retards itself when it does that then it will pick back up and idle fine. And then when I floor the pedal my air fuel gauge goes blank and I loose my power and smoke comes out the exhaust kinda like its out of time. When I come to a stop or push my clutch in the car stalls 97% of the time. ahh yes and v-tec never kicks in.

I have only 2 engine codes
1 - knock sensor
2 - Speed Sensor

I could really use some help. I am all out of idea's and almost ready to push my honda in tha lake..... lol
