Default Hub Caps

Im a newb be nice... recently bought a silver 97 dx hatch....
I was wondering if i had to take the lugs off the wheels to get stock hub caps off..
With pulling force they dont come off

never had hub caps, but i have removed some before (not on hondas). they usually have a set of plastic wanna be lugs which have to be unscrewed, then you will be able to pull it off the rim. be careful not to beak them though since they break easy, being plastic and all.

yes u have to remove the lugs to get the hubcap off, the lugs have a large washer around them holding it to the wheel

Like Mistermark said,
You do have to take the lugs off to remove the wheel covers on most Hondas, because of the washer on the lug nut. Most vehicle's however just pull right off.
