Default ~Operation Block SwAp~

So my ITR block was getting a lil tired, so we swapped it out for something a little bit bigger

Just getting started....

The goods....

Turning wrenches...

Almost out....

1st part done....

Cooling down the motor...dont want a warped head! It worked out pretty tight, we aimed the fan at the exhaust ports and propped open the butterfly on the throttle body, the heat just poured out.

Parts and pieces...

Head off the old block...

Removing the clutch...

Mounted up the trans on the new block...

Transfered over the oil cooler....

Head and timing belt installed...

Back in the engine bay...

Almost there....

In and running...

Finished up....

Total job was 5 hours.....not too shaby!!

Specs are........
ITR head, intake mani, and throttle body.
Skunk2 springs, retainers, and stage2 cams
2.0 85mm GSR bottom end with AEBS sleeves, LS crank, OEM bearings, Eagle rods, and CP 12.5.1 pistons. (thanks Tim)
ITR trans.
DTR header
Tuned on AEM EMS

Motor's untuned right this second, heading to the dyno in a few hours. I'll post numbers later.

Big thanks to Mikey, and everyone at Addictive Racing Motorsports

Thanks everyone!!

The previous set up made 195whp and 131tq on a dynojet, so we'll see what we can pull out of this. I'm going back to the same dynojet also, so the numbers should be fairly accurate.
