available gains from b16 head on b18c?
what sort of gains are available from a b16a head on a gsr block? is an obd-II head necessary for an obd-II gsr block? are b16 cams more aggressive than gsr cams?

the advantages for a b16 head are that you can bolt up an ITR manifold and they flow a little better, the gsr cam is more aggressive than the B16.
the only up side is that a Type R IM will bolt up. Other then that...why do it?? B16 cams arent as aggressive. And you loose compression. So why??

the only advantage of a b16 head ober the GSR head is that the b16 head allows more volume, and compression is .2 or .3 less than a GSR head. Due to the smaller combustion chamber of a GSR head.
why do people always use b16 heads for b20/vtec and ls/vtec conversions? why not use the gsr head?
this motor is planned for forced induction, so it would be more advantageous to have less aggressive cams. a turbo would also benefit from a lower compression.
so the b16 head, intake manifold, and throttle body do or do not flow any better than the gsr?

I'm looking to swap a B16 head onto a B18c block too... but then again, I want to lower the compression some.
The heads are interchangable with no modification necessary right ?
