Default Need advice on B16a project

I'm going to be purchasing some cams and valve springs for my 94 Del Sol. I also plan on putting some GSX-R 1000 TBs onto the stock intake manifold to run ITBs. I've heard about that and done a little bit of research, but I can't seem to find any detailed instructions on how to mount/install them. Any opinions on whether I should get retainers, bigger valves, injectors, etc? Anything else? I'm thinking of getting ITR cams and valvesprings for more high rpm power. I also have a JDM ECU on order, should be here any day now. I have a vtec controller, but I don't know where it is right now so it's not hooked up. Any input is appreciated, thanks! My current setup is below:

CTR Genuine Honda pistons, 81mm bore
CTR piston rings (B16b)
Brand new rod/journal bearings from Honda
Brand new Honda headgasket
AEM cold air intake
Skunk 2 Pro intake manifold
DC Sports header, 4-1
Tanabe Racing Medallion exhaust
AEM high flow fuel rail
AEM fuel pressure regulator
Walbro 255 fuel pump
Stage 2 Exedy 3 puck clutch
Fidanza 8lb flywheel
Lower than stock thermostat (can't remember what temp)

Yeah, I'de like some advice on what cams to get. What would work best with my current setup? I was thinking ITR cams, but I'm debating on whether I should go a little more beefy than those. Any opinions?

I have a very similar build going on. I was looking @ M21's for my set up.

Why Buddy Club Spec III cams over Civic Type R cams? I've ruled out ITR's. What are my choices of decent headers? Is mine kinda junky? Am I gonna need retainers? Would Uberdata be sufficient for engine management?

well if you're running CTR piston get stage 2 cams or stage 3. Also look into running some sort of SMSP header.

Because Buddy Club Spec III cams are larger than the ITR/CTR which are basically the same cams by the way. If you actually did a search on here you'd see that BC 3, Skunk 2 stage 1 (not pro), Rocket Motorsport M21 cams are all good cams for the B16a.

The header to use is the Dc JDM 4-1 header, it has the 2.5" collector, if you have some money, buy the Toda header as SMSP usually tells people for the B16a. The Toda is a far better header and will make great power but it will cost you 3 times as much money.

Uberdata, Crome, Hondata are all the better types of engine management to use, forget the VAFC if you want power and reliability. You absolutely do not want bigger valves and you don't need to worry about titanium retainers specifically. You can use the ITR inner exhaust valve springs on the exhaust side and you should be fine with the cams listed above. Any cams larger than those and you WILL have to upgrade your valvesprings for sure.

The fuel rail and FPR aren't needed especially if you use Hondata or something like that. Your fuel pump was overkill as stock would have been fine, your clutch is overkill IMO and won't be as street friendly on a daily driver. Put the stock temp thermostat back in as the cooler one will cause the car to run rich and have some tuning issues if you use Hondata etc.

Finally...search...you'll be amazed at what you'll learn and the questions you'll have answered.
