Default need help with oil change

yes i am changing my oil on my 2001 honda accord v6. i was wondering if anyone can help me on how to turn off the maint req'd light? thank you for your time n please can anyone help me.

1 .put key in ignition and turn it so the lights turn on in the dash, but dont start the car.

2. hold down the trip reset button(in gauge cluster) for about 10 seconds or until the light turns off.

3. turn key to OFF position, then turn the car on and it should be gone.

before the oil change you need to sign up for freshman english at a local high-school....then we can move on to changing your oil...

go to any "Quick lube" place and have them hook up their scan tool to your obd2 connector and read/reset all codes it will go away.
