Ok, I just got some skunk2 coilovers(please no bashing the skunk2 I know there not the best but its what I got.) I was attempting to take off my stock struts and I could not get the tierod end/ball joint that coonects to the strut off...Does anyone have any advice on how to get them apart? thanx, much appreciated

Need a puller to pull down it so it pops it off. It's compressed on there somewhat. Try not to damage the threads and replace the cotter pin.

What I did as well. Just make sure to be careful when you strike the arm not to hit the tie rod itself or else you will ruin the threads. Just to warn you, it may take a little time for the rod to become loose.

beat it out...take like a ball peen or brass..and hit directly on the arm that comes out from the strut and connects to the tie rod..make sure you dont hit the tie rod..hit it hard couple times and it should pop out
