Spring Questions
Ok DC5 owners anyone have springs they specifically like. MY type-s has crazy body roll in corners I am installing a sway bar and buying springs. I just don't really know what ones to buy.
On my VW 1.8T I installed koni shocks struts and nuespeed race springs it was sweet it dropped the car about 2 inches and had great handling in hard turns.
But when I never really felt I needed the shocks and struts I just happened to win some extra money at the track that week (6 horse in the 5th race lol)
Nuespeed says with the race spring for a Type-s they recommend koni's to go with it. It doesn't say anything about their sport springs that are only a 1.75 drop.
I have never bought TEIN before but their S Techs look good
I am asking who likes what springs?
Do I need to upgrade the shocks and struts?
And how low is too low? I don't want wheel rub.
I love my type-s

I like Tein S-Tech springs a lot, but for my DC5 I'm going to get a full coil kit.
I've heard that on DC5 are known for the control arms to point down like crazy once you drop you have to be carefull, since stock they are at a straight angle.
What's a safe drop so that parts don't go out like CV Boots and power steering cause on my Spec-V the power steering started leaking very slowly(took about 4 months for it to almost empty)?
Is this something to worry about?
