exhaust leak
i never thought about posting it on here since i thought i could fix it myself but anyways heres the story. couple weeks ago i bought a stock civic exhaust system from the yard for $20 CDN (including the stock cat converter, resonator, and the piping ending at the axle). got back home and put it on, started it up and noticed that theres a leak at the flange over the rear axle. i noticed the old gasket was still on the flange so i cleaned that up nice, put it back together and it still leaked. after that i said '**** it!" and left it the way it is. i don't know if i should go ahead and try fixing it or take it to a muffler shop and have them deal with it??? what do you guys think??

Ok i helped you through your exhaust problem before.
What you can do is go to canadian tire and buy muffler concrete.
Put the gasket on and put this cement on either side and tourque it up nicely. Then put it around then entire flange where the gap is.
Run your car for 5 minutes then let sit overnight.
Has directions on the bottle.
It is sold at canadian tire for about 2 dollars canadian
