Default Ebay coilovers

I saw these coilovers on ebay, and out of all of the chinese brand coilovers, I saw that at least these ones were rated so I think I am gonna give them a shot,

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW

my only question is I know there are alot of similarities in the suspension of the 4th and 5th Gen preludes, and in all the pics I see of coilovers for the preludes, they are all the same so my question is does anybody know if coilovers for the 5th gen will fit the 4th gen strut? I also have 5th gen struts too so I dont know if there are any differences between the two but im sure one of you do.

Thanks!

well first sleeves arent any good, so if you are going to do them get some better quality ones. dont quote me but i believe the 5th gen base ones will work with a 4th gen

oh ok, yea I know the suspension is different on the 5th gen sh because of atts right? So if it isnt the sh model than the coilovers should be interchangeable?

I have ebay coilovers on my car(4th gen) they were on the car when I bought it. I would recommend that you save a little more and buy something with a little bit better quality. The ride is harsh, and I really dont trust pushing them to the limits.

all those would be good for is getting your car low. every bump will feel like the end of the world and it will bounce. my friend in an ek used to have some.

You should slap yourself for wanting to buy cheap ebay brand coilovers, but you get what you pay for Don't take a cheap route when messing with suspension parts on any vehicle

I have a set of VIS Racing (like the carbon hood guys) V-Spec II coilovers new in the box. I was going to put them on my car but I came up on a full set of Buddy Club dampers. If your interested I can let them go for 200 shipped...let me know!

I just put some ebay "coilovers" on my car about 2 weeks ago with some new struts because I heard that lowering on "old" stock struts will blow them out quicker and my car is old anyways. The ride is very harsh and very bouncy. On my way to D.C. one time, I thought my car was going to break because of the potholes and bumps in the street. I lowered my car so that the top of the wheel is just barely hidden.

Conclusion: I wish that I would have made a wiser choice and saved some money to buy some good stuff. Oh well, you live and learn the hard way. If you do get them, just be warned that the ride will be HARSH.
