Default JDM Type S Throttle body on USDM factory intake?

Will the large bore JDM type S intake fit my 01 prelude with a factory intake manifold?

The title says throttle body, but your post says intake?

no.... it says Type S throttle body on USDM factory intake..... your throttle body goes into your intake, i want to know if the JDM throttle body will work with the USDM Intake bc im not in the amrket for a new intake and my throttle body has decided ot take a plung for the deep end and this JDM throttle body is cheaper than the USDM one from honda.... and i cant seem to find one with a TPS which i also need except edelbrock which wont fit my 01, only up to 96

hmmn, pretty sure that says intake dude... but I think we know what you mean.

I'm betting that it will work though since the manifolds look nearly identical.

i dont' think there are any differences between the 2 throttle bodies. but there is a big difference in the intake itself

well not all JDM throttle bodies are the 62mm type-S.
plus the upper chamber of the S-Spec/type-S is larger than the standard H22 intake manifold.
will it work is not really the question, but why?
