S2000 CR or NISMO Z???
well, i was wondering around today and read review for NISMO Z.
if you were to choose, which one you'll pick considering if CR was modified to same level as NISMO Z from base Z?
It's redline which is 7.5k is now closer to AP2's 8k redline
i'm giving NISMO Z consideration while i wait for 4/4 for CR's debut.

ROFL... sounds soo bias... you didnt even see the info of the CR yet you leaning towards it....
what if the nismo Z handles like an F1 with a civic price? LOL

At least there's something for enthusiasts to go on with the pic of the actual Nismo 380 Z. That's more than I can say for Honda and it's mythical "S2000 CR".
I can't wait for the April Fool's joke.

new nismo z is a very nasty looking car
i much rather have the track version + mods.
I know the S2000 CR cant get worse then the Nismo Z.
The Nismo Z looks like an early 90's civic with a body kit.

first off, there is NO information on the CR. second, if its gonna be like what the rumors say, no a/c, stripped, etc., this is gonna be a very very very raw car, in the class with the elise. so to compare the CR to the nismo Z is just nonsense.
i will be biased with this, i would totally go for the CR before a Z, i've just become so familiar in the s2k, and it has gained my trust in every aspect, and an s2k being improved from the factory should be an amazing thing.
oh yeah, and the Z is one ugly car.

I just never liked the z's from the start. It could have enzo performance and it still wouldnt do anything for me.

The CR exists, but can't give out any more info than that
I will say that if you actually track cars often, then the CR would be the car for you. Alignment is much more adjustable on the S than the 350Z. The newer Z's are much more difficult to adjust alignment on. A track instructor I know hated his Z b/c of the lack of adjustability with alignment despite a few Nismo goodies on his car (he ended up getting an S again).
If you're planning on driving on the streets only, the Nismo Z would be the more logical choice with more power on tap (300+hp) vs. the S2000 CR (2xx hp
)

Ick. The 350Z is ugly in stock form and even uglier w/ the Pontiac aero treatment. That said, the rear view isn't bad though I'm fairly sure the "diffuser" is unfunctional.
ICBW, but if even minor components obstruct the flow of air, downforce is effected exponentially. I'd be interested to see a bottom view shot of that Z.
CR FTW!

Sorry I just really had to respond to this comment.... If a car with the performance of an enzo will not "do anything for you" just because it looks like a 350Z, then I guess we have proof that all you really care about is asthetics.

April Fools is on 4/1. Debut 4/4.
clues:
1) Hope you're not bitter b/c it's "USDM-inspired"
2) It's not as rare as a North American Honda S600 or a North American Honda-powered Ariel Atom
3) You're right hand will feel funny.
4) Sunny days aren't so sunny anymore
5) Some girls are hotter than others
6) "Some girls are bigger than others" - The Smiths
