Default Questions about h23a

I am thinking about getting the whole h23a (h23vtec) swap. I just had a few questions:

1) Does it have the manual tensioner?
2) Would it be the same exact thing as an h23a1 with an h22 head?
3) Is the transmission that it comes with the T2T4 lsd (since this engine comes from an accord sir)??
4) Is this swap worth doing on a 5th gen? In terms would this make the car overall quicker than a jdm h22 swap?
5) Are the maintance parts inter-changable with an h22?
6) Would the type-s pistons fit without major modifications?

If there is any other advice you can give, it will be greatly appreiated.

Thanks in advance

-Moh

It has over 140k on it and leaking oil from somewhere. I might as well get a new engine and sell what I have. While I have the new engine out, I can mod it a little bit too.

h23a in 5th gen sounds like a crap idea to me, doing a pita hybrid motor is an even more pita than you think.
I would go call your local wrecking yards and see if they have a h22 motor/tranny combo from a 5th or 4th gen and throw it in, for the best results. It will be alot of work for not very much hp.

I am not talkinga bout the frankenstine. I am talking about the ACTUAL JDM h23 vtec motor which came in the 98-02 accord wagon.

bring this back from the dead to get answers since Im in the same position as the OP, only thing is my car is 5 speed....and we're talking about the jdm h23vtec (blue-top) not a hybrid/frankinstein motor.
