Default Lambo Doors....Question about them...

I have lambo doors on my show integra. I got 350lbs Shocks. Once installed they just dont seem to be enough. I have to physically LIFT the doors open. With a lot of force.

I was wondering if anyone had a similar problem and upgraded to 500 or 600lbs shocks? I would assume the door would lift itself a little easier, though it might be a little harder to close. Which pushing up from sitting down is a lot harder than pulling the door down to close...So I wouldnt mind.

Let me know!

Thanks

Not that I dont think JDM is clean...which actually, I think stock USDM is the cleanest you can go with a slight drop. Perfect...

But thats SOOOO boring for a show car. People either love or hate my car. If you are a JDM junkie, you will NOT like my car. The only thing JDM I have is S15 headlights and S2000 Taillights. Everything else is custom, or not JDM. If you enjoy looking at peoples creativity, then my car is for you.

Either way, I dont give a **** what people think, its mine and my vision. Thats all...

But back to the lambo thing, I am just going to have to do the good old trial and error thing. Sucks...but at least the shocks are cheap! $50 shipped for 500lbs shocks...

Thanks anyway!

And I think the flame suit thing he was talking about had to do with the fact that if a car rolls with lambo doors its hard to get them open...I can only assume that idiots cant break the windows. And on aftermarket kits they open normal to a certain point, THEN go up...

here is a link to a flipped burned lambo....*WARNING* Graphic - dead bodies...

an oem lip helps the aerodynamic of the car by lowering the body closer to the ground and oem fogs help you see in the fog or rain as you can see very functional they also give you clean look.

ahahahaha owned biiiotch

and a oem lip or oem fogs add style, style that includes QUALITY and tens of thousands of dollars spent designing them,

dont let anyone stop you from building cars that attracts ten year old boys, whatever tickles your lambo door loveing pickle

besides how is oem **** boring for a show car? you show a ebay body kit, ebay lambo doors, ebay altezas, basicaly make your car with horse **** from taiwan that you bought on ebay and put heavy *** rims and a annoyingly brite paint job on it, thats cool and all but its not everyones cup of tea

oem cars make good show cars, its not just about having a run of the mill car, its finding the gangster rare good looking quality **** thats makes "oem" or "jdm" style cars tight

quality gay lambo doors and body kits

I can't help you with the problem... but I noticed this same problem on a friend's car a few years back. I know he ended up selling the lambo door kit right after that though, so he never looked for a solution.

Good luck anyway.

a good quality show car is about the hard work, cleanliness, and the hard to find mods that tastefully add to the performance or appearance. having doors that make your car harder to get into does not make your car a good show car.
