Realistically he doen't need to state what motor he has since the question is simply asking if there's an advantage to using adjustable cam gears on stock cams.
On any engine, being able to adjust cam settings will usually be helpful in tuning for a little more power. The thing is you will need to have the car on a dyno in order to know what settings will work best for your car. There are no "standard" settings to use that will work for every car.
