can anyone tell me what the differance's in tranny's are? i have a b16a and several of my friends do too. we all have differant tranny number's. just wondering what the differance's were? I know one is a lsd, but i dont think any of us ended up with one.

 

I apologize for doing this to you dude, but...

 

the gear ratios are diff....like he said ^ search it up and dont be skimp.

 

the gear ratios are shorter on the B16 trans and some come with lsd but they are even harder to find.now on a 90 and 91 integra the cable trans says S1 and on a 92-93 integra cable trans and a B16 the trans says YS1 they are not the same tranny for the gears the only thing thats the same is the caseing.So you have to run the vin on some but B16 YS1's are a way better trans

 

or there is the uber rare j1 tranny out of the b16 integra xsi ^_^
