what rpm do you guys take your built motor to????
whats up my motor is about finished and im just wondering what rmp you think i can safley take my motor too..i have eagle h beam rods,weisco pistons,new rod bearings,balanced crank,turbo rings,head valve job,ported polished,oversized valves,(manley)skunk 2 springs retainers,,and b17 cams...its turbo going to run prob 20-25psi

Give the seals and gaskets a chance to "fit nicely".
When my engine was built and the turbo was on, I only took it to around 7200 because I felt my axles starting to give and I didn't want to break an axle. When I had my dyno through Hondata, it showed my maximum HP to be at 8800 though. You really should have your car tuned so you know where you make power. Also remember that at a higher RPM, without traction, you really won't be going any faster. When I shifted high, it usually took a while to get decent traction and I realized I was going to be spending quite a bit in tires.
