Default Engine speed question

On a 92 DX (all stock) what engine speed would result from running 60MPH in 3rd gear? I have no tach and I want an idea what RPM that is.

BTW if you ain't got nothing positive to say, then turn it around.

TIA

Default Re: Engine speed question (Paprika)

I don't know too much on a DX, but on my CX I do know that 1st tops out at 37, 2nd at 68, and 3rd beyond what the car can do. So my guess, if the trannies are the same, would be between 3 and 4k. Maybe a lil bit higher if the DX tranny is a bit shorter like i suspect.

42~43 MPH @ 3000 RPM

60 MPH @ 4200 RPM
