Stumped
I recently bought an 89 crx si, and coincidently I noticed a couple guys w/ the same problems recently but not quite the same. My car will occasionally seem to sputter like it's not getting gas when I'm casually driving it. I thought it might be the fuel filter being clogged so I changed it. This happened once, but has happened twice as of lately- once I cut off my car to get gas or a drink (something quick) and hop back in my car I will go to start it and it will fire up but then die before I can rev it. The solution I have right now is to let it sit for a min w/ the key out and then try and it fires up fine?
Also, when I'm starting it cold it seems to fire up fine as well. I think this may be the fuel pump?
Lastly, does the holes on the bolts to the fuel filter need to be in line w/ the holes on the end of the fuel lines?

Can't really help you as it doesnt' sound like a problem I've encountered personally.
But as far as the banjo fittings, no, you don't need to line up the holes.

somethin like that happens to me when im driving casually sometimes it bogs but then i let of the gas a bit and then hit the gas again and it stops or if i keep on the gas it will bog and then wipe me back in the seat and take off lol
i think it might be the dizzy i really dont think its the fuel problem

I'm interested here too, mine recently started doing the exact same thing. It started with the bobbling on throttle, since has quit, but will have the same problem starting yours does. Mine also has a stupid idle sometimes, any weird idle problems too?

This happens too. And I do the same thing, letting off the gas and then give it gas again and it does alright.

I do have a rough idle sometimes, but not all the time, when sitting a stop light or something.

That was my intial thought, haven't gotten around to check it yet though. It being in the gas tank means it will prob. take me longer than I have time for right now.
