big throttle body and bog??
I have a d16 with a 65mm tb and today I down shifted to third, pulled out to pass a car, put it on the mat and the car bogged. Do you guy's think the tb is to big and causing the bog. Thanks
im no mechanic but your tb is probably too big matched to the opening of your intake manifold. might want to look into getting your IM ported to match your tb.
the difference in size could be creating a lip that the air is hitting as it goes into your IM.

65mm is too big on a D-series with stock internals. Most guys run 60-62mm with good success. If you're running a bigger cam you might be alright with one that big, but even then 62mm is typically big enough.
i have the same problem on my b16a!! I have 11.1 cr pistons and eagle rods. Up top i am running a 96 Gsr cyl. head with mild mild porting, ITR 4-1 headers, no cat, AEBS intake manifold with a S2 68mm throttle body all stock fuel rail and regulator with stock injectors and stock ecu.
I thought it was my TPS sensor not reading right at full throttle but would this problem really be tuning?
should i send my ecu out to kenji for an increase in duty cyle?

agreed you really need a wideband to make any decisions. Just throwing things at it likely won't get you anywhere.
OP was your car tuned with the current throttle body?

Get it tuned at the earliest or bad things can happen,

maybe it needs to be tuned by someone that knows what they are doing???
really that setup sounds like it should make more ,
but more then likely that is not the problem if it was properly tuned.... maybe the jaring of the downshift caused a wire to come loose or a sensor that was bad to show up .....
