Once upon a time in a small city in the middle of Canada, where elevation and dry oxygen deficient air causes S2000's to run 14.999, Civic SiR's to run 16.5, stock ITR's running low 15's and the firebirds, camaros and mustangs running low 15's to high 14's...amonst the rednecks, riceboys and cat-less V8's....lies a mid 14 second ITR
My second time out drag racing. I went to "test" my new mods since there is no dyno around here. I beat my old best by 0.67 seconds, needless to say I'm happy with my new mods (header and cat)

The track is at about 2000 ft above sea level. Not very high but for some reason, cars just don't run fast at that particular track. For example:
99 BMW M3: 15.2 second ET (his best)
S2000: 14.99 (his best)
ITR's: Low 15's
Mustang GT 4.6: 15.89
Civic SiR's: mid 16's (I witnessed at least 3 of them with this particular time)
Prelude BB6 (newest gen): 16.0 (his best)
There was a new Z28 and new V8 Firebird, they both ran low 15's.
It was my second time drag racing the ITR but not my second time drag racing. I still believe that drag racing does not take alot of skill.

while it doesn't require the bucketload of skill that a circuit driver possesses, launching an FF car requires a SKILLED touch.
