Default dyno charts - jrsc :)

can't ever get enough charts to see what preludes are putting out right? just went to retune last weekend, thought id post the results.

power mods: jrsc, 9lb pulley, aem accessory pulleys, hytech header/cat/exhaust 2.5" thru, cold air intake, 550 injectors, hondata s200b, hondata intake manifold gasket.

its so cal, so its running 91 octane.

That's awesome. I've always wanted a supercharger for my Prelude. One day it will happen.

How about a video of you given er on that thing.

true, tq numbers are higher than what I was reading aboot on here. Most are making about 200tq no?

i do have a video of the 230 whp run, which was when the boost belt slipped at 5.1 lbs:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JA_TVTDWj70

when i was talking to the the tuner and asked about the tq, he said all jrsc preludes that were dynoed at church's averaged around 200-210 tq also. i dont know why, but my car just likes to make more torque hahahah. maybe it came with all 'b' pistons from honda ^_^

Sweet numbers.

I like the retrofit too. I'll be doing one in the upcoming weeks, as soon as I'm done with school.

looks good. what do you think the numbers would be on a normal dyno though?

a kid with a JRSC told me his belt use to slip all the time until he switched to a NAPA belt. then he never had a problem again.

dont know, want to fund me for a dynojet run? hahaha ^_^
i went there for a dynoday for 350zs, and from what I heard from the car owners, the dyno was reading about 10 ish more. but who knows? it could be a bigger gap or smaller.

i use goodyear gatorbacks. theres no slipping issue after the belt breaks in for the first drive or so, but it needed to be retensioned once.

The dynojet reads a little higher than the dynapack. On mine, there was about a 10hp difference but I've got about 90whp less than this guy, so who knows what the difference would be.
The car look sweet and the numbers look happy.

Good numbers none the less, good to see the JRSC actually work for some people. what prompted the retune ? new mods or just for ***** and giggles?

Lets leave dyno descrepancies outta here....the church dyno has a reputation all its own...

The numbers look great though....I bet that thing is a blast

i never retuned when i went from mugen header/stock cat/hks drager exhaust (2.25 ish) to full hytech (2.5 ish). i didnt gain much as far as hp goes although i did get to break the 250 barrier on their dyno, but i scavenged a lot more tq from the new setup.

I'm surprised you didn't pick up a lot up top with the hytech header....

Was it making more boost with the old header by chance?
I'd like to see what a supercharger setup could do with some high lift low duration (turbo-like) cams with almost no overlap and a good port job on the head. Some high compression slugs and a 95mm crank....I think you could get 320 out of it....mmmm
