Hey everyone,

I know this has been talked about for years now, but I just recently took my car out of storage and obviously my radio needs the code to be inputed to work.

Well I dont have my radio code card and I've searched high and low only to find the following information...

In my glove box, actually the secret compartment, there is a code that reads;

00A****8

Now I got VERY excited to find this and turned to my radio only to realize before i did anything that my radio does not have 8 numbers on it, lol.

I know the code is a 5 digit code so i figured "****8" but what the hell is the eight?

Anyone know? Anyone care to help?

each radio has each code... the code should be in the owners manual or a card.. if not, go to the dealer..

 

i dont have the owners manual or the code card for the radio.

i know i can bring it to the dealer, but im trying to figure things out on my own first, before having to pay for nothing

 

pull out your radio and get the serial # at the back...

call the dealer if you can just ask them over the phone with the serial # provided, or post it here and maybe someone can help you out...

had the same problem i bought it used.went to dealer service writer said they could find it with the vin. sales man said it is a sticker just like on my 26 civic. so i began looking & found it on the drivers door jam with the vin & stuff. look & look & look, or have the dealer help or jerk the radio
