mp3 hookup

Default mp3 hookup

is the little plug underneath the 12v adapter that says "aux" on it so i can hookup my mp3 top the headunit? if not what is it, and how do i hookup my ipod?

where can i get the cord for it, can i just go to a radio shack or do i have to go through honda?

Yep, you just need a simple cable like this(runs from headphone output to AUX plug) :



They range from $5-$25(radio shack, ebay, etc), I reccomend getting a somewhat decent one as the cheaper wires dont maintain good sound quality and usually fall apart after a while

also 3ft is plenty 6ft is to long and you have to find a place to wind it all up

got mine for like 12 at radio shack 3ft long and has gold plated ends

You can get the cable from radio shack/best buy/circuit city.. wherever or you can get the honda musiclink from honda (or me! ) and be able to control the ipod from ur headunit.

I want that Honda musiclink. Too bad I have a Zune, but if its easy enough to install I'm going to get an iPod. lol

I got mine from Best Buy.. cost me $6 CDN and it's perfect. It has always had perfect sound quality.

nah all of them hold the good sound quality. But product quality is what will affect the outcome in the future.
I got a cheapo 3 buck one from ebay and then a 23.99 from radio shack...same thing really

it works if you know how to use it...only downfall in my opinion is you cant see whats playing. but if you install the honda tts software and know how to use it, its pretty cool
