Default locked front brakes.

well today i was driving my car and the front brakes decide to lock up.havent messed with any of the brake components.when i first took off i could feel the brakes drag a little and then they just locked up.i SEARCHED but really didnt find a whole lot.anyone have any idea's what would cause this,also its full on brake fluid...TIA Brian.

shouldnt there be some type of return valve on the brakes? if so, that may be your problem.
by what you said im guessing both front wheels locked up so that eliminates the posibility of a bad caliper.

these are just ideas, i dont know anything

Well when was the last time you changed the calipers? My origional calipers just locked up around the same time about 1.5 years ago. Just went online and picked up rebuilt ones for cheap. The only way to test the caliper is to take it off and try moving the piston, it does'nt take very long to take apart and test....Goodluck

calipers do sieze. they need to be replaced.

its a good idea to switch both tho, considering if one side is old enough to give you problems the other is probably just as bad.

thanks for the info guys,i went out there and they wasnt seized anymore,i was like wtf.but oh well thanks guys.
