i have a 93 honda del sol si. i had baught a 98 d16y7. im going to use the same head cause its vtec but now i know the head will bolt up and the sensors will to, but will i need obd2 to obd1 wiring kit. i know the these questions will come out.... no i cant use the old block threw a rod the head is still good. i got it dirt cheap not trying to make a race car out of a sohc.

 

When you start working on this project youll come to realize your not even touching the harness. With that being said what harness do you think youll be using?

 

so that means i can use my p28 ecu..... and i do not need the wiring harness ? the obd2 to obd1

 

well i know that 96 and up is obd2. but the head is still a 93, so would i need any thing or is it plug and play.....

 

take the whole z6 head, manifold out and slap it onto the y7 bottom block and dont forget to remove the oil jet from y7 block
