can anyone tell me if the d16y7 and y8 auto trannys have the same bolt pattern onto the engine block? and if im going from a y7 auto tranny to a y8 auto, is it the same setup as in bolting it to the block, axle setup and shifter cables?

 

all d-series are the same take off y7 bolt up y8 no problem..
