Default I can't change a lightbulb

One of those two inside the climate control unit of a 93 Civic Si.

How to get those two buttons off? I have the Helms manual and it didn't say how.

There is a tab on each side and two tabs on top and two on the bottom, I've gotten those off.

So the buttons at the end of the two sliders are the only things in the way.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you have to disassemble the back par there to access the bulbs. I don't think the buttons are supposed to pop off exposing the bulb.

Actually, dragging it out is probably the best way to do it. I carefully took out the temp setting button by the book. Then couldn't get the plug off the fan control one. So I got frustrated and pulled harder and the button flew off intact! Viola!
