Ok so heres the story.. A few months ago while I was driving up a hill near my neighborhood my timing belt snapped in my 88 crx si d16a6. So I had it pulled back to my house and end up replacing the timing belt and waterpump. Ever since that it hasnt ran right. Apparently the motor is an interference motor and I may have bent a valve. So I continue to drive the car and it was still driveable just it sputtered every now and again. Well recently I was getting ready to trade the car and I drove out to beechmont from sharonville and when I got there the car wouldnt restart. I had it towed back to my house in sharonville ($120) and started ripping the head off. I got a head from carthage auto salvage ($150) and put it on. It was in pretty good condition. I replaced the exhaust header gasket, the head gasket and intake manifold gasket as well as replaced the o rings for the injectors. I got it all back together last night and went to start it and it was doing the exact same thing it was doing before the head replacement. It wont even stay Idle.. I have to struggle to keep it on long enough to realize something is def not right.
I timed everything correctly by the book ( I may need to check to see if the engine was an intake stroke or compression but i also heard it didnt matter)
Getting Spark on all wires and plugs ( I know because it shocked the **** out of me)
Getting fuel (when the o rings were bad before it squirted gas everywhere)

Does anybody have any Ideas of what the problem could be. It sounds like the timing is off 180* but i dont see how it could be.

It'll start for a second and it just sputters like its out of fuel or off timing

 

i dont think there are bumps here but oh well
