I messed up my wiring harness, so I bought a new one
I have a d16z6, but my vtec is hard wired, so I got a non - vtec harness
I hooked everything up, but when I turn the key, the fuel pump just primes again?
It doesn't even try to start
What is this?

When you turn the key the fuel pumps suppose to prime and your radio and such turns on, in order to start the car you need to turn the key again and hold it til the car starts.

 

try looking for the small wire that goes to starter many peopel forget to hook that up and the car wont even try to start if thats not conected

im not ******* stupid dude, after it primes and i turn the key to start it I get one long prime as long as I hold the key

On the engine wire harness there is a wire that connects to the starter. I think its black with a white stripe. Make sure its all the way in.
