Best to look elsewhere unless you want to spend $700+ on a custom set of shorter rods. H22 pistons will stick up above the deck .034" and probably hit the head. Running custom froged pistons in FRM requires sleeving. Go with an older block and run the H23/F22 95mm crank.

USDM H22A4 floating wrist pin (1998 Prelude IIRC, 10:1 in original application)

yea 98-01 is floating. I guess it doesnt really matter which piston it is. IIRC they all have the same compression height and just the dome is changed between the 3. So the top of the piston is still going to stick out .034".

with a .074 cometic head gasket you can get over that hump.

I happen to have an f23 short block with a cracked block. anybody want any parts?

And I love the idea of f23 crank and rods with h22 pistons. The only thing I don't like is the "heavy" pistons and "high" piston speeds. I don't think it will like the high revving most of us like.

But the k series does it so why not the h/f.

well, the 2.0L's have the same bore as the h22 so technically they would fit in the bore. Thats all the info i know about them off the top of my head.

I have not looked it up recently but they are atound the same price as the custom rods and will give you a load of compression given the difference in stroke and combustion chambers.

95mm is soooo much easier.
