thieves are every where....but you should protect your car, if you want to be targeted dont make your selves vulnarable ( windows down, reving at everyone u see in kali you might not make it back home)

Stock cars get stolen too.

If you can't rent a car, I'd make sure you have proper insurance coverage just in case anything happens.

I'd also recommend bringing a camera, cell phone and car charger for the phone.

sure they do but clean cars attracts more attention and gives them a better reason to jack it =]

My stock car was stolen... His car is physically clean, as was mine. It really doesn't matter. A honda that looks easy to steal will probably get stolen.
