day time the car will run like ***, once the sun goes down, it starts to run as it should

now wtf could cause such a loss of power during the day? i mean the differences are huge once nightfall comes around

well when we swapped it in, we had a small problem with the fan coming on, so we hooked it up to where it comes one once the key is in the ignition

if it comes on just when the key is in the ignition, doesnt that mean its running every time you drive the car??? Did you ever feel the hot air coming off those things, no wonder your cars down on power!

 

how much of a diff/power loss can this cause?

my friend did the same thign to his radiator fan...it runs perfectly fine like that..it could be somethign else.

Seriously, most cars run better at night. You might be running slightly rich in the daytime and at night your hitting the Air Fuel sweet spot.

How does the exhaust tone sound in the Day vs. at Night? Back in the old days pro-drag guys tuned soley by ear and this still is valid first pass method.

 

of course most cars run better at night, but im talking about a night and day difference, oh and btw.....that doesnt mean i run correctly every night, but most the time when the sun is down it will run how it should, but not every time....

im running rich regardless (mugen ecu) but even with the old p72 i still had the same problems

Well if you are running rich with the mugen program you may want to take a look at your plugs. If they are sooty then you are running too rich. Having a rich situation will exaggerate your night/day performance.

 

again even with the p72, same thing :/

 

Are all your sensor hooked up? Like the IAT sensor or or the coolant temperature sensor?
