obd0 to obd1 conversion no spark
hey i have a 91 Honda with a mini-me i just did a obd0 to obd1 conversion on my car i bought my harness from eBay i wired every thing up like it suppose to be and i still don't get spark i checked every ground swapped out main relay and tried the distributer on another car and it works fine any help would be greatly appreciated thank you
There are 2 black wires on the conversion harness that each go into black wires on the dizzy plug. I had the same problem where my car would not start either, I just switched the black wires. There is no way to tell them apart. These wires go into the OBD0 dizzy plug.
Hope this isn't confusing.

the harness is from eBay the obd1 dizzy is has the connectors that plugs into it wired to the obd0 harness. The first connector goes org/blu>org/blu, org>org, w/blu>w/blu, w>w, thick white> yellow green, c1 on the ecu>blue green, c2 on the ecu to blue yellow. the second connector is wired blk/y>blk/y, blue>blue. Is that the correct way to wire it?

I pretty much having the same issue. I bought my harness off ebay also, What you guys are saying about the blacks for grounds, on mine theres 2 blacks 1 brown all grounds, one goes the the service check signal, VRM( dont know what this is) and O2 sensor green. Nothing going to the dizzy?
im having the same problem only im getting spark but im still getting a code 8...what i did to fix the problem with dizzy is i wired it straight to the jumper harness to elimanate any possibilities of a problem being in the wiring harness. you may want to try that gL.
Im having a similar problem but mine is with the Crank Position Sensor, i cant get it to go away period. Not trying to thread jack at all but does anybody know where to pin the 2 wires for the crank position sensor?
I think your problem is definetly wiring related.

I checked the wiring i had 2 wires off on the dizzy harness, I get a check engine light of 9 blinks looked it up and it says cylinder 1 position sensor? could that be the vrm on my instructions?

I dont think that has to do anything with the cylinder position sensor if you ask me. On mine, all i had to do with something for the dizzy was pin the CKP sensor, i pinned it at B10 and B12 like it said and its still throwing a code 4. Dizzy has been replaced also and wiring is good all they way to the ecu pin so i dont think i have the correct pin locations
You may hit them up on here there very helpful. they have tried to help me and id didnt buy my harness through them. but im really thinking about it
ok i have a p75 ecu, ebay harness, repinned the dizzy plug, and td-55u dizzy. doing som e research online to see if my ecu is obd1 or obd2 since p75 can be both, are obd1 and obd2 ecu plugs the same just pin out is different? Also

Well you need to figure out if your specific ECU is obd 1 or 2. Once you do that your straight and you can get the correct pinouts on here somewhere.
I guess ill hit them up on here and see what they say about it.

cool my ecu is obd1 but i think my dizzy is bad. i get no spark it gets really hot(were you cant even touch it), it wiggles when its mounted on the car like the shaft is bent,
