Yeah, it's not hard at all. You don't need the projector unit. Just gut out the bulb and ballest. Modify the bulb to fit the stock headlamp and that's it. When you're done, it'll look something like this:

because the BMW projectors will be made for HID.. putting HID into halogen housings is gay..the lighting is ****..and it blinds everyone.. ..the only problem you might have with the conversion is that the HID projectors are smaller in size compared to the integra projectors..unless you have the ITR HID headlights..then it will be the same.. but the BMW beam patters will be correct for USA driving..the JDM ones are made for right hand drive..

The Integra housing is an exception it has a projector and it distributes the light properly when placing HID bulbs.

D2S bulbs with a 9006 base is all you need + ballasts is all you need.

It those dumb f*cks who put D2R bulbs in projector housings or put HIDs reflective housings not designed for HID use. ie. EK Civics Light is scattered everywhere, and it looks like they are highbeaming everyone.

I think Audi HID projectors (S4, etc.) have the same physical exterior shape as Integra projector housings... if so it should be a direct swap.

Sure thing, I got a notice of it. I haven't run into that before so I'll have to look into why.

Thanks in advance!

LOL! Make sure you know where they have your stock lights (in stock) before you start your project.

Farthest thing from a "direct swap"......Not to be a dick BUT..... If you have no idea what is involved or have never done it why comment on it?

Well I took apart my headlights a couple months ago to clean out the moisture. I can't remember exactly what the projector housings looked like, but I think they were pretty similar to the ones that I saw on a post in the Sylvania Lighting forum, where a guy took 99-00 Civic projector headlights and swapped in Audi S4 projectors. The shape of the S4 HID projector and the projector used in the Civic headlight looked the same. These projectors looked larger than the normal projectors used in most aftermarket Civic headlights (the crappy ones), so I had assumed they were similar to Integra projectors.

I had the BMW headlights in my car before someone hit me, and it only took like 10 minutes each. they are a bitch to aim but, who cares? thats what high beams are for. I got them for pretty much nothing because my friend works for BMW.

Edwin, it's Scott, from the meet last Thursday. ITR with graphics...anyways, where could I pick up ballasts for a decent price, I'm assuming Johnny could get them but I'd be paying through the roof. Any ideas? I'd be looking for mainly the ballasts and the bulbs I can find almost anywhere.

Your best bet is either go with local guys xeondepot.ca or Trevor (visual dynamics). Trevor mentioned he is going to holding a groupbuy again. $400 US for the bolt on set no modification. This would be the way to go.

Dremel modification of OEM D2S bulbs with sanding wheel is "ghetto" only fit for ghetto ITRs. You don't want that.

Yes I've seen it done...you people need to visit the Philips lighting forum.

Any kind of modification/retrofitting/blah blah has been done by one person or another on this forum:
