Default Anyone running B.Crower VTEC cams?

I can't decide between the Stage2 N/A or Stage3 for a GSR. You can't beat his prices, and quality looks top notch.

Anybody running these have a dyno sheet? What kind of numbers could I expect?

Stage 2 will be your best bet, look at the engines they used for the dyno's on their site.

Actually, I've found a source for a b20 shortblock..

Im planning on :

84.5mm b20 shortblock (stock sleeves)
RS machine ITR race spec 84.5 pistons
Eagle Rods
OEM Honda Bearings
GSR Head
B.Crower valvetrain
B.Crower Stage2 cams
AEBS manifold
Rage big tube tri-y
310cc injectors
ChromePro w/ Moates Ostrich

Hopefully, that'll yield 200+whp with a good broad torque curve. This is going to be my daily driver, with A/C and P/S.

Does anyone actually know or questioned where these Brian Crower cams comes from?

I just wonder due to its low pricing.

The cores come from either China or Taiwan...I can't remember.

Final machining, and polishing is done here.

with that being said, pretty much every cam we see advertised for out motors are made in Taiwan.

chris2k-why question the cores? to be skeptical? why question B.Crower cores and not all of the other cams that are developed overseas? almost every cam is priced competively, as of late. so, he's just supplying us what we need...... affordable **** that works. i have the 0012's and i'm on the fence as to which cam i should use..the 0012's or Jun3's. my 0012's actually measured slightly larger than its advertised specs. both in & ex measured roughly 12.1mm. to the Op, don't even waste your time on the 0013's. they leave very little room for p to h/p to v clearance.

Most cores are produced overseas, even the big American companies farm cores from somewhere outside the country. However, some cam manufacturers have something called a "premium core" which is produced in the states, then grinded in the states. IMO, as long as its GRINDED by someone reputable, Im fine with it. Thanks for the info about the 0013's, I definitely won't be using those.

I have the stage 2's going in my 11.5-1 B16 with his full valvetrain. Should be ready to go in a few weeks just getting put together at the shop. On a side note my builder was impressed with the spring and cam combo says it should work great. Hoping to break 170whp with 1599cc's.
