what paint do you use to paint a valve cover?

and what colors do yall like?

i want to paint my dohc ctec valve cover a color...any suggestions?

 

Oh get VHT wrinkle finish. My friend recently did it on a b16 VC now it looks just like a type r VC. Im gonna do it soon, i already have my VC sandblasted

i used the same base/clear that i painted the car with:

 

good brands of engine paint. VHT or Plastikote 500 degree engine paint . high gloss black seems to take the worst beating without comming off. and wrinkle VHT comes the closest to stock.

Clean it really well for it to stick. i cleaned mine at a car wash with the high pressure hose. then put it in the dishwasher at home. then painted it.
