Default Need help, with rebuild advice...

OK the piston rings in my B18C block are shot...so, I was looking at a block a whole new one a B16 block with PCT pistons in it .25 overbore, would this work with a stock P72 head and OBD1 P72 ECU? i dont have any tuneing device yet and The nearest tuner is like 300 some odd miles away. Or should is just get the stock block re-bored/honed and put somt new ITR pistons/rings in there? If i do that would i have to replace the rod/main bearings given they arent f*ed up?

Bearing are not something you Think about replacing or not, you Always replace them.

And I don't see any reason why the b16 block wouldn't work,
but putting it back together with what you would need, I'm not sure.

The B16 should fit the head and ecu... but ill rather stick with da B18 block and just hone it like you said and you will be alright
