I am assuming this will work without a problem, however I am swapping a OBDI GSR engine into my Dual Point EF sedan, and am converting the Dual Point Harness to Multi-Point. I will be using an OBD0-OBDI jumper harness to run the GSR ECU. I am assuming and am like 99% sure that wiring a Vtec controller into it in the typical OBDI manner is going to work, just wanted reassurance.
You dont need the VTEC controller if you are running an OBD1 GSR ECU. However, if you want to run the VTEC controller, then it is just the same as wiring into an OBD1 vehicle

I know I don't need the VTEC controller while running the ECU, but may want to run a Vtec controller down the road.
I think someone makes a OBD0-OBD1 jumper with a vtec controller harness with it so all you have to do is plug it in.
Im geussing rywire? someone correct me if im wrong.

Why bother if running obd1. Just run a uberdata program which can be downloaded for free. It will do everything a vtec controller can do, plus a hell of a lot more. Your only cost, $15 for the kit to chip your ecu.
Vtec controllers are ******* retarded......
When you expletive with that stuff without actually doing a fuel map and timming tune then you're actually hurting your performance rather than helping it. It's like those idiots who use the MSD Vtec activator piece of **** instead of doing it right and getting the right ECU and doing the proper wiring

Well he might not even want to use the vtec controller part they DO have other features. I have a data systems one and it has a adjustable rev warning, a dual/split time timing system to time laps. and it has a nifty digital tach built in. I dont use the vtec feature I just like the other nifty stuff it has, and it was used and cheap
and came with a obd0 to obdo harness so no splicing
Im not sure if this is true but this was posted on another page about it
"The Data Systems Concealed VTEC Controller is a new entry into the VTEC controller market. This VTEC controller has become very popular in Japan over the last few years. The controller allows you to adjust the VTEC crossover point and at the same time, automatically adjust the fuel and timing to optimize performance."
