clutch noise at idle
i have a 5th gen and when im idling, after driven and warmed up, the clutch makes a weird growl. my tranny just got the throw out bearing replaced in january(basically a full tranny overhaul). so ther bearing is good.
the noise goes away when i push the clutch in, goes completely silent. it doesnt make the noise when it first starts up just after its warm, its puzzling to me.
my uncles 2005 350 z does the same thing as well is this normal?

mine is all stock. the master tech at honda said my clutch had been replaced not that long ago. so the clutch is good. and like i said my uncles fairly new 350z does the same thing after its been driven about ten minutes. so idk. it could be normal, and then it could not be. idk lol. fucket.

Dont ever assume that just because something was replaced it is good. An incompetent mechanic can make a new part bad really quick and a competent mechanic cant do anything if he has a faulty part. But I'd guess it's something on the other side of the input shaft making the noise. Once the oil warms up and thins out something is slopping around that is masked by the density of cold oil.

when its one of the highest ranked honda technicians in the state of california, i doubt hes going to do a shitty job regardless put something back together thats messed up. but the car runs and shifts fine, just a lil clutch chatter; if thats even a term lol.

so it goes away after i push the clutch in and let out slowly. pretty weird. its like it doesnt seat itself properly when i just take it out of gear and dump the clutch.
idk. if it goes it goes. i have a warranty

I get Squeeks at idle and while in gear. Damn Throw out bearing. When I tap and hold the clutch while idling, the Squeek stops.
I think it's the Bearing.
This occured right after I had the clutch change.
