Default Question on Hasport Driver-side Mount Doesn't Fit on JDM ITR(B18C) Motor in an CRX

For some reason the driver-side Hasport mounting holes are too wide for the two studs. Any idea why?
Can someone please post a close-up picture of the Hasport driver side mount mounted on a JDM ITR engine? Thanks.

I'd give HaSport a call. That is some of what you pay for customer support.

You need a 90-93 Integra engine bracket. You can't use the one that came with the Type R engine.

100% right. I ran into this as well. Get the motor mount bracket of an old 90-93 ls at the junk yard and mount it to the ITR block, and use the hasport mount. Then it will fit.

The rear L bracket needs to be from a DA integra as well...

Thanks guys for the info. It's kind of dump that Hasport can't produce mounts that would bolt right up to the B-series brackets without going out and source for D-series mounts &lt;---Now, where is the "hit it in the head" icon?

The Integra motor bracket (mount) is NOT a D series part!

You can't expect Hasport to have a mount for every configuration. What they did is make it for the most readily available parts.

Wes</TD></TR></TABLE>Thanks Wes for your input. But, let's take it from a customer point of view(like mine). The B-series swap into CRX is the most popular swap there is, not the D-series. So, why not make the mounts to fit the B-series brackets. Why do they have to fit D-series brackets? If I missed some thing, I'm all ears.

CW-ITR;

<U>The motor mount bracket that you need is from a USDM Integra B motor, not D!!</U>

It's better for the average consumer that the part required comes from a USDM car that is easy to locate in junk yards.

If Hasport made the mount to fit your JDM motor bracket, then it wouldn't work for my USDM GSR installation without me having to source a JDM part. More difficult than finding a USDM part.

&lt;---Agrees with Wes but can understand the frustration in all the little "extras" involved in a swap that most peolple don't talk about.

you missed what Wes said, it's in the passage that you quoted. It does fit a B-SERIES mount, just not your JDM B mount. It fits the USDM B mount which is more readily available and probably cheaper to get.
