Default Jdm head on a UK 97+ bottom end

The story is my cambelt snapped on my 97+ h22a4 , i have a H22a head but dont know if they are compartible?
Would a JDM h22a head fit on a 97+ h22a4 bottom end? ive looked at the head gaskets and the look a little different , Im guessing this is because one is a close deck and the other is open ?
If so which head gasket should i go for the H22a or the H22a4 ?
If not will the valves from the H22a fit the h22a4 head and are the valve compressions different ? would it cause clearence problems ?

Any info on this would i would be very greatful
Cheers stu

Yes they are compatible. Use the headgasket from the 97 block.
