Default Please help!

Alright heres the deal I recently purchased a 89 civic hatchback si with 156,000 miles on it. So I have been doing little things sparco seats t.v. playstation2 dvd air intake short shifter and lots of jdm interior stuff. well anywayz I'll get to the question I have started to upgrade the ignition sytem sparkplug wires and spark plugs well I pulled the sparkplug wires and long and behold the ends were covered in oil is this normal? it doesn't look that way. please help thanks for listening and your help.

it may be the spark plug chamber gaskets, if you pull the valve cover off you can pop them out and put new honda ones in. the local honda dealer should stock them $2 each. they are just round rubber gaskets that keep the oil from splashing down the spark plug chamber.

so do you think it has done any damage? is that bad for my engine? what could it harm? thanks again.
