Alarm with paging & a kill switch or 2.

Then mod.

Add more layers of security, then mod.

1000 on suspension and 1000 on wheels..........or 2000 on a turbo set-up

you can do a decent suspension and rims for 800 or a full turbo kit for 1000, so whyy blow 2G's so easily on just a turbo.

my opinion, i would get some rims, do suspension, header and exhaust.
or rims, suspension, and turbo

$500- $700 on further security
$700-$1000 on suspension

Remainder on little cosmetic details...

Then save up another 2k to spend on i/h/e....ls block/turbo/motor build up

Just my 2 cents.

I think you should decide you don't want the car anymore and sell it to me for $100

eBAY, here's some sh*t that i found in a quick search
i'm talkin about springs and struts and you would have a choice for suspension..

NEUSPEED race springs = $160shipped
TEIN s-tech springs = $190 shipped
drop zone struts = $179-200 shipped
KYB agx struts = $180-250 shipped
KYB GR-2 combo with VOGTLAND(german engineering) springs = $329 shipped
TOKICO hpk201 spring-strut combo = $250 shipped

ROTA boost = $515 shipped
ROTA torque = $416 shipped
ROTA slipstreams = $390 shipped
ROTA circuit 8's = $430 shipped
NIPPON KG-5 = $405 shipped
NIPPON GT3 = $420 shipped
NIPPON F2 = $400 shipped
NIPPON TE37 = $400 shipped
SPORT MAX 962 = $425 shipped
SPORT MAX 501 = $400 shipped
SPORT MAX 002 = $395 shipped
all wheels i searched were 16's

as for the turbo i'm not talking anything crazy, but heres an example. .
if you piece one together yourself you can do it for 1000..
-OBX turbo off ebay for 350 shipped
-XSpower turbo, 175 shipped
-GARRETT T3/T4 turbo off ebay, price may vary but still mad cheap prolly like 100-300 dollars. you could also go to a junkyard and rip one out of an old Volvo (a friend of mine got his for $50 at the junk yard and it works great )

-2.5 or 3 inch piping from ebay - 100shipped
-OBX intercooler off ebay - 75 shipped
-godspeed intercooler off ebay 150 shipped

-OBX turbo manifold 170 shipped
- XSpower T3/T4 style turbo manifold 65 shipped
-HKS turbo manifold 145-280 shipped depending on how hard you look. .

-OBX boost controller 45 shipped
-innovative manual boost controller 30 shipped

-universal BOV's 15-50shipped

or you can buy a kit like this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...87739

and just sell off the cheap turbo and manifold to someone else and buy better ones. .

you can find better brand parts also, but pretty much all i'm gettin at is that it can be done and for cheap if you just look around. .

I'd keep the stock wheels. Get good rubber.

koni and gc/H&R progressive spring/coilover

After that stay on here for 5-6 months regularly, then make up your mind about mods. I would just boost it, i don't consider the b16 as having good N/A potential-ness

I cant even explain how worthless i/h/e is..
If you are seriously going to drop 900 on all of that for maybe 10-15hp
You might as well put the money towards a turbo kit.

and no, 600-700 IS NOT too much for security, i'd rather dump 1 grand into security than having someone stealing it, then again, that's my opinion

you can dump 10grand into security but if someone wants your car bad enough, they'll just tow it. .

besides, alot of the security systems out there that cost like 200-300dollars can be made at home for like 50 bux

Word, almost $500 in mine, and it's stock.

Tilt sensor, driveway. There are things that can be done.

So why don't you start making them and sell them for $150? You could make $100.
